Audio Visual Technology

AV solutions for better connections

Consulting, design, and project management for every way your workforce meets, presents, and collaborates.

Video conferencing rooms with the camera right above or below the screen, a lobby LED wall, and digital signage.

From remote workers to multinational teams spread around the globe, distributed work has reshaped the way organizations connect. The right audiovisual technology is the difference between meetings that flow and meetings that fight the room.

We provide consulting, design, and vendor and project management for all of your audiovisual technology needs. Our experts go beyond handing you the latest hardware — we ask questions and dig into how your employees actually work, then design the right technology for your unique needs. That can mean anything from picking a modern phone system to designing a fully integrated boardroom with voice control and multi-platform video conferencing.

Designed around your people

Every AV engagement starts with discovery: how your teams meet, what frustrates them today, and what a great meeting looks like in your organization. Because we're not tied to any brand, the system we design is the one that fits — not the one a manufacturer wants to sell you.

What this covers

Audio & Video Conferencing

Hybrid work made the conference room the most important — and most complained-about — room in the building. Cameras that miss half the table, audio that echoes, and platforms that fight each other turn every meeting into a support ticket.

We design conferencing around how your teams actually meet: the right cameras, microphones, and DSP for each room size, native support for the platforms you use (Teams, Zoom, Meet), and one-touch joining that works the same in every room.

  • Room systems for Teams, Zoom, and multi-platform environments
  • Camera, microphone, and speaker design matched to room acoustics
  • One-touch join and calendar integration
  • Standardized experience across every room size

Meeting Room Technology

From huddle spaces to boardrooms, every meeting room is a system: displays, audio, control, scheduling, power, and furniture that either work together or don't.

We engineer rooms as complete experiences — including no-touch and voice-controlled rooms where a meeting starts without anyone hunting for a remote. Room standards keep the experience identical from the 4-person huddle room to the executive boardroom, which is what makes adoption stick.

  • Huddle rooms, conference rooms, boardrooms, and training rooms
  • No-touch and voice-controlled room designs
  • Room scheduling displays and occupancy integration
  • Control systems that anyone can operate

Direct-View LED & Video Walls

Direct-view LED delivers what projectors and tiled LCD can't: seamless displays at virtually any size, shape, or dimension, with vibrant color and brightness that holds up in fully lit rooms — or full sunlight. Indoors that means lobby walls, conference displays, and wayfinding; outdoors, building-top signage and digital billboards built to take the weather.

This is a Phase specialty. Our dvLED projects range from the video wall anchoring the Jessie Ball duPont Center's event space to LED delivered for NASA's Launch Control Center. We manage the full scope as one project: design and engineering, structural coordination, scheduling, commissioning and content readiness.

  • Indoor, outdoor, and custom-shaped LED (flat, curved, cylindrical)
  • Building-top and exterior signage, engineered for weather
  • Lobby, event-space, and conference video walls
  • Full-scope project management, from design to commissioning

Digital Signage & Wayfinding

Signage is how a building talks — to visitors finding their way, employees catching announcements, and customers seeing what's next. Static signs go stale; digital signage stays current from one dashboard.

We design signage networks with the display hardware, mounting, content management platform, and network infrastructure treated as one system, so updating every screen in the building is one person's five-minute task.

  • Lobby, elevator, and common-area display networks
  • Interactive digital wayfinding
  • Content management platforms your team can actually run
  • Menu boards, room signs, and KPI dashboards

Unified Communications & Paging

Phones, paging, intercom, and mass notification are still the backbone of workplace communication — they've just moved to the network. Modernizing them is equal parts technology selection and migration planning.

We help you pick and deploy modern phone systems, office paging, and overhead audio that integrate with the rest of your stack instead of living beside it.

  • VoIP and cloud phone system selection and deployment
  • Office paging and overhead audio
  • Intercom and entry communication
  • Integration with conferencing and collaboration platforms

AV Consulting & Project Management

Many organizations think of technology as power and pathways, but it's much more complex — and the expensive mistakes (wrong screen sizes, inadequate power, no plan for what's next) get baked in early.

As your AV consultant and project manager we join at any stage — even mid-project with finalized drawings — to review goals, catch costly errors before they're built, coordinate vendors, and hold the schedule, with no brand ties.

  • Needs analysis, design, and budgeting
  • Drawing review and error-catching before construction
  • Vendor coordination and schedule management
  • Mid-project rescue engagements

Frequently asked questions

What does an AV consultant do on a workplace project?
They plan the meeting rooms, event spaces and displays around how people actually use them, then design the systems: displays, cameras, microphones, speakers and room control. We coordinate that design with the architect, the electrical engineer and your IT team, and manage the work through testing and handover.
Where should the camera go in a video conferencing room?
Directly above or directly below the main display, centered on it. When people look at the people on screen they are also looking at the camera, so the far end sees faces instead of the tops of heads. The display size, the camera's field of view and the microphone coverage are then matched to the size of the room.
When is a direct-view LED wall the right choice?
When you need a very large image with no seams, or a display bright enough for a lobby, an atrium or an event space with daylight. LCD screens or projection usually suit smaller rooms better. The right pixel pitch for an LED wall comes from how close the nearest viewers sit.
Do you work with Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet?
Yes. We're not tied to any brand or platform, so we design rooms around the video platform your organization already uses, and the equipment that fits your rooms, your IT standards and your budget.
