Security & Access Control

Minimize risk to your business

Security system design and access control that protect people, property, and data — without slowing anyone down.

Cameras, card readers and door hardware at the entries that matter.

Monitoring who enters and exits your building is critical to limiting liability and keeping employees, equipment, and data safe. But traditional systems tend to fail in one of two directions: they lock your own people out, or they tell you nothing about who's inside.

We limit liability by assessing your unique needs and delivering the right level of security paired with an access control system that's actually easy to use — like the touch-free access control system we designed for CSI Companies, which lets employees move seamlessly while the building stays secure.

Right-sized security

Security is a spectrum, and paying for more than you need is as much a failure as having less. Our discovery process establishes your real risk profile first, then we design a scalable system to match it, not tied to any brand.

What this covers

Access Control Systems

Monitoring who enters and exits is critical to limiting liability and protecting people, property, and data — but security that slows everyone down eventually gets propped open, which is worse than nothing.

We design access control people don't fight: touch-free readers, mobile credentials, and door schedules that match how the building actually runs. Our touch-free system at CSI Companies keeps employees moving while every entry stays controlled.

  • Touch-free, card, mobile, and biometric readers
  • Door scheduling and zone permissions
  • Visitor management integration
  • Proven at CSI Companies' headquarters

Video Surveillance & CCTV

Camera systems deter, document, and — designed well — answer questions fast: who, where, when, in minutes instead of hours of scrubbing.

We design coverage around your actual risks: entries, loading docks, parking, and interior chokepoints, with camera selection and placement driven by what each view needs to prove.

  • Risk-based camera placement and coverage design
  • Interior, exterior, and low-light camera selection
  • Integration with access control events

Recording, Storage & Cloud Management

Footage you can't retain, find, or export is footage you don't have. Retention requirements, bandwidth, and storage costs all push against each other.

We size recording and storage to your retention needs — on-premises, cloud, or hybrid — with management platforms your team can run from a browser.

  • Retention-driven storage sizing
  • On-prem, cloud, and hybrid recording
  • Browser-based management platforms

Entry Hardware & Perimeter

Access control is only as strong as the doors, gates, and hardware it drives. Electrified hardware, remote gates, intercoms, and delivery entrances all need to work together — and keep working in Florida weather.

We specify and coordinate the physical layer with the electronic one, so the whole entry sequence is one system.

  • Electrified door hardware and remote gates
  • Entry intercom and video door stations
  • Delivery and after-hours entry workflows

Assessments & Right-Sized Design

Security is a spectrum, and paying for more than you need is as much a failure as having less. The starting point is an honest risk profile, not a product catalog.

Our discovery process establishes what you're actually protecting against, then designs a scalable system to match, without tying you to any brand.

  • Site and risk assessments
  • Scalable designs that grow with the risk
  • Recommendations with no brand ties

Frequently asked questions

What is access control?
Access control is the electronic system that decides who can open which door, and when. It combines readers for cards, phones or biometrics, door hardware, controllers and software that keeps a record of every entry, so you can grant or remove access in seconds instead of changing locks.
Should access control and video be cloud-based or on-site?
Both work. Cloud-managed systems can be run from anywhere and keep software up to date without local servers. On-site systems keep everything inside your network. The right choice depends on your IT policies, how many buildings you manage and who will run the system day to day.
Can employees use their phones instead of badges?
Yes. Most current access control systems support mobile credentials and touch-free readers, so people can enter with their phone or a wave, and lost badges stop being a security problem.
How many security cameras does a building need?
It depends on what each view has to prove. Identifying a face at an entrance needs a different camera and position than an overview of a parking area. We design coverage view by view around your actual risks, then size recording and storage for how long footage must be kept.
